i was actually taken aback when one of my distant aunty actually asked me whether Im a boy or girl. straight to my face. hahaha..

I appreciate the SINCERITY. but seriously...

1) rambut aku tak berapa nak mcm jantan. or pengkid.. but i take it as a compliment la. rambut aku mcm anuar zain kan :P

2) aku tau la badan aku macam runway airport.. but again... hahahaha.. jgn la hina mcm tu sekali.

3) aku tau la muka aku tak berapa nak ayu or putih or licin.. aku just naturally malas nak jaga.

4) aku tau la badan aku hot kan. kurus dan berotot berbanding dgn yg lain bulat bulat belaka.

5) aku pakai seluar pendek. tapi at least bukan hotpants or baju melekat kat badan macam nak mintak rogol.

6) selipar aku tak mcm selipar pompuan. sebab slipar pompuan tak kental. kalau lari kena kejar anjing confirm putus.

So what is left for you to judge? afterall aku bukan mintak anak kau pinang aku. tak mintak pon nak jadi menantu kau. tak heran pon sebab bukan kau yg bagi aku makan. tak heran pon sebab bukan aku nak suap kau makan.

whatever it is. i appreciate and love myself. when everyone would die to have a body like mine. why should i bother about what people say. YANG PENTING AKU HAPPY :)

Politics

And now that i've started why stop eh?

OK.. I will vote.. I hate the government. HATE HATE HATE..

But hey. Look at it this way. I have my education. And most of my friends are educated people.. of all races.

I know the govt have been screwing with us so long. But now that we have a strong opposition maybe they will toe the line...

And giving credit where it's due. The country turned out fine so far. I mean there is A LOT that we need to be proud of. Suppression of freedom of speech? yes. I see that as a problem too. BUT to be fair, the voices against the govt are not TOTALLY stifled. And people have access to the information they need to make an informed decision.

I will be making an informed decision when voting. I will PROBABLY be slamming the govt sometime in my future posts. but hey.. that's why it's informed decision and not blind following.

And so far ambiga, the protest for having to notify 10 days in advance? not to mention the seksualiti merdeka (and defacing the word merdeka at that).. come on... there needs to be a line SOMEWHERE.

Been So Long

This is the journey so far. Me and my bestfriend are no longer roommates. This is the biggest challenge ever. Imagining not waking up AFTER your best friend has relented to use the shower before you. Just so you can get that extra 15 minutes of blissful sleep. That one person who you have lived the BEST days of your life. The passing time shoved me right into the real world and it isn't pretty.

I question my judgment everyday. I question my choice of career every time I'm working. And every single time memory beckons me to its arms. I will always relive the glorious blissful days that was with my bestfriend.

I wished every day that i had appreciated time more..

To all those who are lost and happen to be reading this.. if you're of school-going age and life suck at school it will not in uni. If you're in college and you THINK you're life suck in uni... PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE appreciate it. The grass is definitely GREENEST in your era. If you are working like me... God help us all.

RIDICULOUSLY cheap fine for animal cruelty.

As we know in Malaysia the fine for animals cruelty is RM200. Like SERIOUSLY?? that is cheaper than buying a pack of 20's cigarettes everyday for those smokers.

I really hope the new rule will be passed and enforce as soon as possible.

Men are better in giving directions???

On my way back from work today they were talking about men are better in giving directions (cant remember which radio station). and it got me thinking... EMMM... btol ke??

generally men MAY be better in giving directions if they know the road la obviously. sama je dengan perempuan. if they know the road they can also give directions.the question here is why do men say they are better in giving directions?? or maybe they thought so because they COULD NOT follow directions well??

hahaha.. biasa nye, bile lelaki sesat one of the reasons is that they do not want to follow instructions. ye la. ego tinggi kan. malu la... nak tunjuk pandai kantoi jua akhirnye. and menyalahkan org yg memberi direction.

and most of the time tak ramai perempuan yg tau jalan THUS the failure in giving directions. in my one month of work almost every 2 or 3 days akan ade orang tanye jalan. even lelaki. and org yg bagi directions tu perempuan. sampai je sume.. hahaha...

Build for Speed??

Ever seen these images??





Malaysians on the road seemed to take it as a challenge to break the speed limit rather than a rule that has to be followed.. i get it that sometimes the speed limit might be pushing it too far. say putting a 90 km/h restraint on a 4 lane expressway with a long stretch of road. but even so i find it annoying that those who chose to stick to the speed limit (case in point: ME) are overtaken only to be served with a serving of scornful looks from some beemer.. i am already on the slow lane.. sticking obstinately to the speed limit. i care not for your highlight. it is a RIGHT for me. My RIGHT of way. but alas as life on the road of malaysia goes, i am the obstruction...

This is me pledging to stick to the bloody speed limit even though it may annoy and harass those late to their appointment.. if you are late. drive fast. go to the fast lane. im sure as hell won't be THERE. and here's another image..

The price we had to pay for development.

Saya dah pernah cakap sebelum ni that I understand the need for development. However, kite kena fikir consequences of that development. bukan setakat traffic jam, and kena amek rumah orang but also other factors yang boleh memudaratkan penduduk di kawasan tersebut.

Korang nak buat highway 6 lane depan rumah aku, kitorang tak kesah. but buat la elok elok. kalau kau buat elok elok confirm benda nye tahan lama and semua saliran elok. ni tidak. sekarang ni dah kerap betul air naik bile hujan lebat. air masuk kete. korang fikir sape nak tanggung kos nak repair and servis sume??? ingat kerajaan nak layan pasal benda benda macam ni??

Memang la time nak buat sume sokong... "oh.. bagus la untuk negara, sistem lebih efisien dan segala mcam taik lagi. memang la. tapi kalau dah sampai menganiaya hidup org efisien kepala tengkorak kau!

ni baru buat highway. blom start mrt. nanti die nak buat mrt depan rumah aku kite pon tak tau ape jadi. korang memang la tak kesah, suke je naik turun mrt. aku yg duduk bwah ni?? tunggu je roda tu hempap bumbung?? bunyi bising siang malam?? ade kau kesah???

korang nak buat ape ape suke hati la.. tapi planning biar la elok skit. ni asyik songlap duit. pastu jambatan runtuh la... saliran tak btol la.. org yg duduk depan jadi mangsa... org lain seronok je.. kalau sume benda boleh claim tak pe la. suke hati kau nk buat ape.. heh. persoalannye sampai bile orang kan sini nak endure??

Kronologi kebanyakan accident:

situasi 1:
Lembab btol kete depan ni (padahal ni dah lane kedua and speed kete depan is already 90km/j)..
oh.. patot la.. PEREMPUAN rupanye! heh. nak potong la mana boleh jantan drive belakang perempuan. (terus berlagak macho menekan minyak nak potong. lupa bagi signal... DANG!!! accident.

situasi 2:
Si A: eh, jgn dekat sgt la dgn kete depan ni. die bawak manual, karang die undur.
Si jantan: ah, pedulik ape aku. pompuan bawak kete. rapat kan kete dgn die biar die pressure so tak bagi chance utk die undur.
*bile lampu hijau, maka die terundur. DANG!!! langgar.
Si A: kan dah ckp jgn dekat! kenapa nak sampai cium kete die. kan dah kemek.
Si jantan: NI SUME SALAH DIE LA. SAPE SURUH UNDUR. PEREMPUAN. BAWAK KETE PON TAK RETI.
-memang la brader. kau dulu tak belajar ke, bile berhenti kena 2 meter. ni la reason die bahlul. pastu salahkan org.

situasi 3:
trafik light merah tapi die langgar dgn alasan jantan sure ok punye, and kete yg tgh hijau tu perempuan bawak. sure lembab.
lepas tu.... DANG!!!
Si jantan: mcm mana kau boleh langgar. tak nampak ke kete aku??!!!

situasi 4:
Si jantan tgh bergurau senda dgn awek die dlm kete. simpang tu sah sah sume belok kanan, die nak jugak corner baring sampai amek dua lane. DANG!!!
Si jantan: mcm mana awak bawak kete??!!! padahal die yang tgh beromen dgn awek and sah sah masuk lane org.

situasi 5:
Si jelita tgh berhati hati bwak kete, mematuhi segala had laju dan undang-undang.
Si jantan: hahaha... patot la.. perempuan yg bwk. lembab btol.

Kesimpulan: JANTAN secara perasannye ingat diorang lagi hebat bwak kete when sebenarnye diorang tak. situasi ini berlaku sebab diorang ingat diorang lagi hebat dan jadi samseng yang membuatkan perempuan kena selalu berhati hati untuk mengelakkan dari menjadi mangsa ke-ego-an lelaki.

TAPI, diorang tetap nak jugak buat hal, maka berlaku la accident. lepas tu of course salahkan perempuan.. benda ni sume biasa, kalau dah bodoh bodoh jugak. bodoh sombong pulak tu.. asyik nak menindas je. kalau sume bwak kete elok elok tolak ansur confirm kurang accident.

Unlucky

I am at a point where LIFE just refuse to move. I have for the past 4 weeks spend my time reliving each joyful moment that has occurred during my final semester.

And while writing this i have a big lump on my throat. I MISS MY LIFE. and most of all i miss TAYAN. i miss the simple everyday life where everything was so sure and i am safely in my room reading a book while tayan is on her computer beating my butt in plants vs zombies.

THAT was my life. It may not seem like much but to me it meant everything. the stability, security and the best friendship.

I have nothing on the line. I'm not waiting for something definite to begin. There is no future date where something begins for me. This is not a holiday. This is LIFE ON HOLD. and i am not liking it.

BUT. i digress. The point of this post is basically to tell people the obvious FACT OF LIFE. some people are born under a lucky star that no matter how much you surpass them in academic excellence, they are the ones who has LIFE FIGURED OUT.

FOR some bloody reason i don't have interviews line up all this week when i damn sure should have.. No one is knocking on my door, falling over each other to get to me...

THEY have something definite to go to. THEY don't have life on hold. In actual fact THEY have moved on while I twiddle with my thumb looking at my own future placed in my palm without a clue of where i'm going...

the wonder years

so here i am for the past week trying to put in words how much my bestfriend mean to me and somehow words fail me. i am incapable of making out words that wouldn't fall victim to the term cliche or even childish. so here i am declaring how wonderful it has been to be in this friendship in words that are thrown around quite a bit but as cliche as it may be, it came straight through my heart...

there are certain events in our life that marked and scarred our friendship. This will always stand out.. but there is one that will be significant in my life and will be our measure from here onwards.

The moment when your loyalty to this friendship made you threw everything away and sacrificed everything to stand by me. 3 years of friendship can be singled out in this one moment when you mean more to me than anyone ever could. a lifetime of friendship with a different person can NEVER measure up to that one moment in our life tayan.. that was the day we changed. and we changed for the better. every struggles and triumphs are for both of us to share.

of course people made fun of how we are always together.. called us names. but they fail to realize that we are a stronger team together that can weather any bricks that are thrown at us.

your fights are yours alone and mine are mine alone. But i enter into a struggle with full consciousness that i am brave enough because you GAVE me the strength to be brave. and when things fall apart.. there is one person that i know who would not fail me...

Awesome conflict: Jangan salah guna agama untuk kepentingan sendiri.

Lately banyak btol orang buat sumpah laknat untuk buktikan kebenaran sesuatu perkara yang mereka cakapkan. Teruk sangat ke institusi atau harga diri sampai kan orang memang tak percaya korang and sampai kena drag sumpah dalam islam just untuk buktikan ape yang korang cakap tu btol??

Atau terlalu kotorkah taktik budaya zaman sekarang sampaikan sumpah adalah satu satunya cara pembuktian?? bila benda macam ni bawak nama islam. guna cara islam. tapi bile aniaya orang ade kira ke kau islam ke tak buat perangai macam tu?? fikir-fikir kan la.. jangan nama islam tercemar sebab kepentingan sendiri sudah. nak cakap lebih lebih pon tak boleh. kita bukan belajar agama tinggi tinggi. tapi at least tau la jugak benda benda basic macam ni..

jangan salah gunakan nama agama untuk kepentingan diri sendiri. mencemarkan nama islam dimata orang bukan islam je...

Awesome Malaysia: Petrosains!!!!

I've been here once during my primary school time I think. An enjoyable place to visit. Makes you feel excited about learning science :P

So the other day, finally managed to go again. This time as a birthday treat to Tayan. We got student price :) we entered around 10.45 am.. as usual i look forward for the 'dark ride' where you will get on a sphere shaped ride to reach to the exhibition site. Awesome ride though some might find it boring.

It was on a weekend. Not a good time to go if you are going there for fun and want to fully enjoy the games there as there are many small kids and school trip. another thing is love is the helicopter simulator. that is awesome too.

I remembered when I was in primary school i actually thought that we are really on the oil platform in the middle of the sea :D

A lot of new things has been added.. the F1 section, more games... the exhibition will start from the dinosaurs era up till our generation..

The tickets are affordable too :) it is amazing how an incredible learning centre like that can fit in a mall... SUPER AWESOME. You can go to their websites for more info and also about the facilities they have :)

Awesome new obsession: BOWLING :P

Played once where I slipped the ball backwards. and since then afraid that I might accidentally drop it again and hit someone. But the other day sebab takde benda nak buat kat ou pegi la try main bowling. since then.... awesome-ness! not in the sense that pandai main la. tak pernah strike pon :P

nonetheless now suka and hoping that mase free time boleh main banyak banyak!!! yeay!!

Malaysia... my destination :)

I consider myself to be realistic. I have dreams but not the sort of dream like going for a holiday to Paris or Washington just to name them :P
I believe that before I travel abroad, I need to conquer my own homeland first. After all Malaysia have LOTS of stuff too. I am lucky that I only left the borneo area to visit while I've been to all the states in the peninsular but probably not all the islands yet.

In order to promote tourism in Malaysia [:P] I'll share some of my experience visiting places all over the peninsular. Although the way it is convey may not seems to be fun or nice but why not try them yourself to really experience it?

Just for fun... Malaysia is awesome. SERIOUSLY :)

Feeding stray cats?? Be courteous :)

I think it is sort of normal for us to give our food to those cats walking under our table when we are having our meal outside. who wouldnt pity those little creature walking with bruises and blood on their body. Probably because the shop owner hit them as they are seen as nuisance to their business. The truth is does it ever occur to our mind that these creatures were hit because of us???

The scenario is that we (in normal circumstances) think that cats like fish and something meaty or bone-y thus we give them those chickens and fish with bones. although cats eat all that but there are also certain are of the bones that they cannot eat or sometimes they did not finish. thus the left over of what they eat left on the floor would caused the shop to look dirty and the customers will complain. also if the authorities came to check the cleanliness the shop owner would be in trouble. THUS that is why they dont like cats...

A simple act of us feeding them can also threaten their life and make them miserable. though there is no evidence that the shop owner actually do that to animals but why not just save that thought and be considerate. if you want to feed them why not before you leave check whether there's anything left on the floor. if there is, why not just use a tissue and wipe it up. simple... or you can save all the food later on your way out from the shop call the cat and leave the food somewhere that is not disturbing. Just in case... Thank you :)

Guilty dog. Anjing pon paham......

I saw a trailer the other day mase tgh nak tunggu wayang start. the line of the script was:" kau ni harap je ustaz or alim (whatever) tapi perangai macam anjing". hahaha... i guess some of you would know tu cerite ape. that is beside the point.

ape yang ingin disampaikan adelah... kenapa bile orang melayu nak curse akan guna perkataan such as anjing, or babi... im not saying that i didnt say those word. i do say babi at times. but that is not to be referred to people sesuka hati...

hina sangat ke anjing? at least for this matter.(sebab babi of course la haram) but kenapa kena curse guna anjing?? personally i find it offensive. i hardly hear orang bukan melayu curse guna anjing. adakah sebab kite 'tak boleh' pegang anjing maka anjing tu hina?? arak pon haram. tapi kenapa bile orang melayu minum tak de orang curse diorang panggil 'perangai macam arak!' (or things like that)

bagi orang bukan melayu anjing adalah mcam kucing kepada orang melayu. they love their dogs and their dogs do behave. i seriously think the perception of calling orang anjing sebagai cara untuk menghina is offensive. cukup la kau tak boleh pegang but are you really going to go that low and use them as a cursing object??

fikirkan balik la.. sebenarnye anjing pon paham ape orang cakap. if org baik dgn die, die pon akan baik dgn org... anjing pon boleh jadi lagi baik dari org yang guna perkataan anjing untuk hina org. adat la.. name binatang... kau ade otak. binatang tak de otak. if perangai dua dua same baik jadi anjing. tak de otak pon perangai boleh jadi elok. dari manusia ade otak tapi last last asyik dera haiwan je... tak bersyukur btol..



ABAIKAN muka hodoh itu dulu. hahaha...

ini menunjukkan haiwan pon paham cakap org... and ade perasaan. bukan manusia je.. therefore.... renung renungkan la diri masing masing...

Kepada sume pencinta makanan pedas... saya akhirnya jumpa nasi goreng berbaloi untuk makan dipagi hari dengan harga yang murah!!!!! dan yang pastinye die pedas. :)

fantastic boom gile dang! die bukak meja kat tepi bus stop je.. ade banyak kuih and nasi. nasi lemak, nasi goreng dan juga nasi putih (rasenye lah) kalau nak pedas lagi suruh letak sambal. then makan sambil minum kopi panas. AWESOME-NESS!!!!

hahaha... alamatnye: tepi bus stop opposite porto romano taman tun. (yang sederet restoran santai) selamat mencuba :)

Plants V Zombies!!!!!!

Ni sume 'salah' arinah sabtu sebab bagi game ni zaman dahulu kala ketika bosan menyibuk kat moot room. sekarang da addicted. and akhirnye dapat gold trofi dulu daripada die.

Kalau bosan nak mampos atau depress baru lepas break up.. cuba la try game ni. best gile dan akan sentiasa membuat kan anda sibuk sampai tak de masa nak bersedih gundah gulana mahupon berduka cita...

game ni first time bersambung lama gile. game game lain when dah abes sume level thats it. but game ni endless! haha.. main la sampai muntah..

the BEST chicken wings,

I've known this place for quite some time now already. one of my friends brought me here few years back. I couldnt be bothered about their chicken wings at first. But later I realised it is the most awesome-ness chicken wings that you can have in Kl.

Tak jauh pon. It is really in the heart of Kl. Im sure ramai yang dah pernah dengar or lalu tepi restoran stadium negara. Yup.. chicken wings ni kat situ. walaupon a bit pricey compare dengan yang lain which is almost Rm3. but seriously berbaloi. if dah teringin sanggup drive all the way to go there and have 3 chicken wings each. tunggu la bile gile.. we'll try to have 4 or 5. awesome bebeh.. give it a try.

Adventure: BUKIT TABUR

this is one of the few things that i had look forward to... sure it was a week before finals began. but we threw caution in the air as we spent the time to go hike bukit tabur. i have to say the whole experience was at first a nightmare.. i was so out of breath and bloody tired. screamed to myself a few times to go beyond my limits. there is one very significant advantage of being with a number of people.. the urge to quit is usually silenced in determination to not fail. we stopped 3 times because of yours truly (was really embarrassed). vomited because surprisingly i got nauseous up there which i hear happens to people when they hike but when i read it my reaction was: REALLY?? WHY?
Having puked myself. that is still a mystery to me. (sebenarnye if google je pown tau the answer.. but malas ;p)

anyways. having reached the end. it was marvelous. i would repeat this experience in a heartbeat. i enjoyed the scenery and the company. its wonderful how friendships can be appreciated in the most unlikely candidate...

and the view was worth it. having gone up in pitch black condition did not seemed like a good idea but seeing the night turns to day and catching the coveted sun rise. it was worth it.. i would love to go again...

Favorites: Siti Nurhaliza

Hahahaha... legendary... Thing is she's been laying low ever since her marriage and appart from the occasional functions and events she stayed out of the limelight. So there wasn't a lot of shows she participated in to sing. And the time that she DOES appear, her fashion sense makes me cringe. It was like her fashion sense prior to E.M.A.S (her album) only worse. And here i thought she had all the money in the world to splurge on the good stuff.

Anyways. she has been incommunicado in her official page/blog too. Its been almost a year since her latest post.

THEN she made a talk show. Urgh. apppearing in the public eye in the worst way possible. But then all talk shows in Malaysia sucks anyways.. (mentally shrugging)

So what was my point? I love Siti. Though because of her antics as said before, I had to endure ridicule for choosing to love a singer like this. But seriously.. there is nothing out there like her. She's amazing and her voice reaches and grabs my heart everytime. Its hard not to root for the girl so many hates. :)

I shall end with an i told you so by posting her performance in AJL that brought the house down more than the entire show of newbies could do. AND she was performing on a sore throat and a fever. (ON THAT NOTE: you can do anything with a sore throat. tak payah nak kecoh sangat sakit tekak tapi tak make an effort pon. padan muka. dah la kedekut ilmu. KARMA. they just bite don't they. This is unrelated with this post btw. haha..) ENJOY

He is not annoying (most of the time).. and he's accurate. he's my thoughts i never had the courage to say out loud.. it was simple and simply common sense on everyday things. but there's nothing like it. Anyways. below is one of my favorites. in my dream i was already waking up and doing my morning routine when suddenly mom wakes me up for school. IT SUCKS! coz i was already fed up doing my morning routine i.e. waking up, mandi, etc...

A new way of blogging.

Came across this blogging video on my friend's fb page. Im sure many have seen the videos posted by the two guys Im about to 'promote'. obviously creative people is everywhere but whats important is the output of the creative-ness.

Im 'promoting' them not because i know them or i get paid to do this. but im saying this because i want their messages to be heard. those are the things that people should listen and take note to make the world a better place. or at least malaysia in a smaller scope, or your own neighbourhood..

maybe if you havent heard of them; one if anwar hadi and the other is mat lutfi.

Hooked on : Clear Green

so i couldn't find the proper image for lipton clear green. apparently they have different packaging in other places. the most common i got when googling for the image is the first image here.. but for me i would prefer the packaging in Malaysia because it's more attractive..





I love love love it! between us we drank about 6 of those. and that is our not so crazy time. we used to share a bottle but now would take each one bottle. (though honestly i would also drink some from tayan's bottle because i finished mine so quickly!)

The BEST thing about it is that though its better drank cold but when its NOT cold, its just fine! unlike coke or even lipton's ice lemon tea. drinking THOSE when they're not cold isn't nice. AT ALL..

So it's perfect for us student without a fridge. IM HOOKED ON LIPTON CLEAR GREEN TEA! from the looks of it im not going to un-hooked for some time yet. :)
